- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪STAY AWAY!!! YUCK!!! Deceptive billing and business practices all around. My wife with severe RA went into the Dallas office of Rheumatology Associates. As a routine patient she changed insurance and the new insurance wasn't accepted by (Dallas Office of Rheumatology Associates) DOORA. She wasn't informed of that at the visit and wasn't informed of that until months later. Since she didn't update her address, she didn't get the bill and then when she went to make payments, she was sent to collections. After pleading with Stacy (admin) and Maria (inept billing manager) and Shilo (billing), we were told it was our responsibility to do all the pre-certification work of their office and if we failed to do so, we are responsible for all consequences. They refused to even meet in the middle to settle the bill that was sent to us 50 months after services were rendered!! Sadly this will sit in collections and not be paid.
