  A terrible experience. I took my son to Dr. Snook based on the referral from our primary care doctor. I called the office and wanted to get in as soon as possible - I did not want to wait til the following week as my son was becoming more concerned about the issue. I was given a 3:15 appt but was told they would get us in earlier if they could. We arrived at 2:50 and waited and waited. We made it to a room with a technician at 4:30 and then waited again for the doctor who we didn't see until about 30 minutes later. He made a snide comment as soon as he came into the room about fitting in an appointment when the patient had the issue for several months (even though it was his staff that did that and was NOT my specific request). He was *totally* dismissive of my son's concerns and said his symptoms indicated it was all in his head. I found him to be one of the *most* arrogant doctors I've seen My son was very upset by the doctors dismissive attitude. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I can now understand why almost all the patients there seemed to be 70+ - a generation that tends to have a much higher tolerance for arrogance (and perhaps expects) a doctor with that demeanor. But, Marcus Welby he was not. The staff however are quite nice.

  Please seek help elsewhere. Dr. Snook is dismissive, doesn't properly explain conditions, and doesn't seem to read his patient's charts. He waited until I had seen him twice last year to refer me to a specialist, because he said my condition would get better over time. The neuro-ophthalmologist I was eventually referred to said that Dr. Snook was incorrect; my condition is permanent. The neuro-ophthalmologist said it was too late to try the only treatment he had available, since I had waited so long because of Dr. Snook's incorrect diagnosis. At my last appointment, I was pleased with the technician who tested me; the support staff is good. However, when Dr. Snook saw me after my test, the first thing he said when he entered the room was, "So this tumor of yours, is it doing anything?" I replied that I had no tumor, to which he responded, "Oh, right, you had a stroke." I have not had a stroke either. He clearly doesn't follow up with his patients or read their chart, as he had seen me twice before about the same problem, and I have been a patient with his offices since I was in middle school. Due to his poor bedside manner and for his too-late referral, I am no longer a patient there.
